Our little blood orange in a pot has been good to us, in return for us spoiling it rotten all summer, and now has 10 ripe fruit (nine, we just ate one).

Are those really blood oranges? They don't look like the ones I'm familiar with, which have almost a purple tinge to them...

Norman, these are fairly pale. I'm not sure if it's the variety or whether it it due to the amount of sunshine they got as they ripened. But I do know they taste really good!!
